Disappointed in KnifeCenter.

I received an email from KnifeCenter today. They saw the picture posted here showing the hat inside the box (I had only sent them the pic of the hat outside the box). They didn’t realize that an employee had folded the hat to fit it in the box…. They said it was unacceptable and are taking steps to correct future shipments.

They told me not to worry about shipping the hat back and they will ship a new one as soon as they get it in stock.

I think they handled the issue as well as anyone could have. No complaints here. :)

If anyone wants a creased Boker hat, I’ll send it your way for the cost of shipping, lol.

I will no longer deal with knifecenter. They sell out of stock items, take 2 weeks to finally tell you it’s out of stock. Several emails go unanswered for 3-5 days before a clueless response. Horrible customer service.

Wouldn't just a padded envelope be the best way to mail a cap?

a whole box seems excessive.

I would have just tried to work the dent out a little bit and saved myself the time and headache of the return process.

It's annoying yes, and I too have gotten emotional about shoddy customer service. But at the end of the day imho, life's too short.
