I'm still waiting. Tracking says it left Idaho and is in Spokane.

It's good to see you checking in and hopefully you will be very satisfied with the actual knife which you've been waiting on despite the procedural kerfuffle. Hopefully you will be able to close out this thread (or request to have it closed) after your satisfaction with the merchandise because these kind of threads just tend to attract trolls after they serve their intended purpose. What a lot of trolls miss to comprehend is that Survive! still produces one of the finest USA made knives in the price range it is at. Unlike some of the other makes which have been mentioned on the Survive! subforum, they do not use Chinese steel or products originating from overseas. While they definitely do suffer from both managerial and procedural aspects in their business, some self inflicted and some due to optimistic aspirations, their final products have accumulated a fine group of people, some of whom I have had the pleasure of befriending right on here
To speak for myself, the current pace of Survive! does not work for me because I am both impatient and impulsive. That said, whatever I had bought from them as Factory 2nds were delivered to me a lot sooner than the frustration some people have had experienced plus all the preorders which were cancelled by me, were refunded without any hassle in a timely manner, again unlike some others had reported. Perhaps I was more fortunate than some because my requests were handled at a time when the Co was not in a pinch as much as they seemed to have been when they were hit with a brunt of bad publicity ensuing more massive refund requests. I have no ill will toward Survive! and I will be back again, if they will have me as a client, to purchase some of their knives once they can make their products more readily available. If not, I do not have a problem to pay an acceptable (to me) premium to someone who decides to sell their new model S!Ks on the secondary market.
