I was just looking at the Flytanium Jade scales, thinking about buying a set to replace titanium scales on one of my Bugouts.Benchmade Bugout scale swap from Flytanium jade G10 to Rockscale Design Critter Ti scales
For the money the Fly G10 are a big upgrade over stock, have decent texture, and add a little welcomed thickness to the handle, nothing wrong with them. i just got a great deal on the RSD scales and thought id try them out. I say go for it!I was just looking at the Flytanium Jade scales, thinking about buying a set to replace titanium scales on one of my Bugouts.
Was there something you didn't like about the jade G-10?
General question. For bearing races as in the above North Arm is there a right or wrong way to face the open and closed side? Thanks.North Arms Skaha 2

Very interesting picture ! Thank you for posting it and thank you for posting so many others ! I particularly enjoy the Microtech pictures, I like to open up my auto Socom one day but have to get better tools than the one I have.
For folder work the sizes I've needed are Torx bits #3-10 and occasionally standard/metric allen. I like Wiha the best, but Wera is also a great brand.Very interesting picture ! I believe l saw a Wiha set on this picture, in your experience is it a particular set you find useful for disassembling folders or you’d go with just T set of allens? TIA
I dont think it matters much since the bearings turn in the machined pockets of the scales and/or blade depending on the model of folder. Ive seen them Installed from the factory in either orientation.General question. For bearing races as in the above North Arm is there a right or wrong way to face the open and closed side? Thanks.
