Disassembly pics?

This Bugout recently survived a trip through the washer & dryer, so I thought I'd take it apart and do a clean & lube.
Also took the opportunity to do a scale swap to the Flytanium Titanium...I probably won't keep it this way, I didn't plan ahead and the thumb studs and other hardware don't look quite right with the titanium.
To be honest the hardware lost a little of the brass color in the wash so do I wonder about the finish of those pieces.
The only other damage to the knife is right at the tip the blade took a scratch from rubbing against the inside of the brass carry clip insert, I'm guessing while bouncing around in the dryer.
This is the Chromium Nitride blade, not the cerakote, thankfully. I'm not sure, but I don't think the cerakote would have fared as well.
Anyhow:

A friend came by with a few I couldn't resist taking apart and cleaning up. Something to do til the wife gets home.

An oldie but goodie (circa 2003?) spring assisted SOG Twitch XL, a Snap-On (?) made in China frame lock, and a Case (?) Tec-X ExoLock (frame lock)... all in decent shape for what they are, but dirty and sticky! The Snap-On cost me a T-6 bit which didn't make me happy but I guess thats life in the big city.

Huh...never realized those Twitch knives used a coil spring for the assist🤪

To be honest I was a little surprised myself.
Also not sure how it was new, but the assist was a little weak, or slow. The knife opened all the way and locked, but not as fast or snappy as I'd like.
Thought about shortening the spring but that was vetoed.

Does anyone knows what those numbers means ? DOB maybe ?

The tang numbers are the manufacturer month and year date code. I’ve seen different spyderco models with extra letters also. my guess would be for identifying as authentic versus a counterfeit or maybe something they use for inventory/parts purposes.

I thought of y'all when I had my WE Beacon apart. It was pretty clean from the factory but I still gave it a good rub-down with 99% isopropanol. I swapped out for Skiff Bearings and lubed it up with some Lubriplate FMO 350-AW. I like this knife a lot more than I thought I would.
