i think he's saying that random public, that otherwise has no interest in EVER being a Beckerhead, or people just looking for profit.

i'd be sad that a Beckerhead, or someone that wants in would miss out, but really, i'm not at all concerned with pirates.

the process will be : you will be told where to call, and call you will. i feel badly for them, because they will be harrassed but they'll like it. it will cause them to create a KaBar version, street date: +3 years and there will be rejoicing.

this won't be part of any regular dealer network. if a smart dealer can haggle a few for stock, that's biz, but it will be after all BH orders are satisfied, if i know my guys.

buy a Becker now. i would suggest a necker, or a even a magnum camp just sayin'

ALL new [full-size] Becker models will have pommels. as these ***ARE*** original BK-10 blanks, they'll have the pommels. it's just the way it is.

there will be plenty left, but you need to be *fast*

when these are gone, they are GONE forever. really forever. this is a very Very VERY ***VERY*** special historical thing. done is done.

and well, maybe in 3 years or so, maybe less, they'll bring the BK-10 into the lineup. it's one of the few obvious choices imho left.

thanks! glad to hear about the hammer pommel, was hoping it would have that feature. i actually didn't realize becker, kabar, or camillus ownership counts toward the beckerhead number. i've got a camillus-made scout knife from when i was in scouts (go figure haha) that has gotten some good use over the years. that considered legit? if so, now to just work on contributing more in this particular forum. a little over 2 weeks to hit 25 posts and 5 thread initiations in order to request and get assigned a number before this deal passes? i'll see what i can do, without, of course, putting up garbage posts and ending up like this guy ---> :foot: either way i'll be keeping watch of the situation and hoping to score me one of those 10s. thanks for the info and help everyone.

Yes, standard issue Becker scales. Ka-Bar Grivory and Micarta. Will fit every full size Becker knife ever made, apart from a few early Blackjack runs IIRC.

Unfortunately, I don't think so. If my memory serves me right (getting old ) you have to own a Becker knife, made by Ka-Bar, Camillus, Blackjack or whatever. But it has to be a Becker.

Yeah, you have to own a BKT from Kabar, Camillus, Blackjack, but it has to be a BKT product.

And we are taking a break from issueing numbers for BH status, until after the knives go out to public sales.

Yeah, the Let's Roll thread is locked. There were a few guys that had been around for a while, that got a free pass, because they had the stats, just didn't apply. No one starting from scratch for the next two weeks will be given a number. Thier posts, and threads do count for a BH#, but they won't be given out.

We done that, so the "flippers" won't have a chance. We been telling everyone that to get their number, that stuff is coming. Well, stuff's here. And this will be the norm on thing like this. You wouldn't imaging how many emails and pm's I been getting since this started about guys saying, "Hey, I want one of those knives, hook me up with a BH number".

Its how it works, but those with a number, ya'll are good to go.

Plus, the whole thing with being a Beckerhead, is that you are interested in the forum, not the knife. If all they want is the knife, then we don't want them. The knife is something FOR the Beckerheads, not to create Beckerheads.

And its not like they can't buy one of the knives, they will just have to pay the street price of $150 to get it. This is FOR Beckerheads.
