  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Disccusion: Beckerhead BK-10 Special (was: Don't you just HATE it when ...)

Esoxlucius74, it's best to put it in pictorial terms that Moose will remember. Moose, the knife needs to go here!

Guyon, thanks for your offer, but uninsured/untracked USPS is $40. Luckily, I've got some time left to decide if I want this knife enough to pay for the shipping. I'd love to have it insured and tracked, though. On the other hand, what's the point in insuring a knife that's not replaceable? In 3 weeks, none of these will be left, so insuring it would only add a feeling of safety :D

Well, the likelihood is that it's going to get there, and you're still under the mark that the general pop will have to pay.
Stinks that international shipping is so much, but I've been in the same boat shipping knives from the United Kingdom.
I ordered the Spyderco Pen Knife before it was available in the States, as well as some Mora Mikis we couldn't get over here.

Meat you could always just buy it and have moose hold it for you over on this side. It'll provide more incentive for you to get over to the gathering.

meat -- I recently shipped a 4 pound package to New Zealand - packaging it in a smaller box than the medium flat rate box I could have shipped that for $38, tracked and insured. not tracked or insured it was only $25.
I'm betting you can get the knife shipped priority mail with tracking and $125 of insurance for $30 or less through USPS.

Why does Meat keep asking me if we have Schnitzel? Then he asks if I want to see his.

Hey, in coming to Iraq we had a lay over in Germany and I had some Schnitzel at the the airport... it was amazing!!

To clarify... it was not man schnitzel... it was the food.

If it's been mentioned, I missed it, but does anyone know the default shipping method for this buy? I assume it's USPS, but would like confirmation of that if anybody knows. Thanks.
