Well, this was an unexpected one. I was browsing Ebay, and found an auction for a "Gin-1 Spyderco lock back w/spyder teeth." The fuzzy pictures were clearly of a Blackhawk. I set up a Gixen automatic bid, and a few days later I was the proud owner of a well-used but ok Blackhawk.

There is a Mini Manix on the marketplace here. I'm tempted to pick it up, but really don't have the spare cash right now. I've always liked them.

I'm wary of the rules here, not sure if I can talk prices. I found it by accident at an online dealer while looking for something else. It was 20% under msrp!?!

The MSRP on the Spyderco Para Military 2 Carbon Fiber CPM 154/CPM S90V (C81CFPE2) was $469.95. 20% under that is a relative bargain considering how much they're going for now on the big auction site.

The "relative bargain" is what pushed me over the edge on this. Figured that finding one of these below msrp was never going to happen again...

On the website called gunstar.co.uk I have found a Spyderco manix 2 in snow camo. I tried to find it elswere for the price point but could not find in in snow camo. Do you think that the spyderco is fake?? Thank you very much for your help!

It really is a sickness...

First, I got my little C24 Blackhawk a companion--the C23 Renegade.





And I found this fairly rare Golden-made Meerkat...





And then this original Bob Terzoula Starmate came along...

Here is my Gunting that I bought directly from Spyderco in the early 2000's. I tried to never use the blade and carried it a bit but found it a bit too hefty for my needs.
Just got it back from sharpening at Spyderco. I understand this is a popular knife and that someone else would likely enjoy it much more than I would. What is the best way to sell or trade it?
