Just want to add my favorable .02, as well:

I ordered three Kyocera kitchen knives from Discount Knives on Nov 1. They are not listed on the DK website, but Brian replied with a price quote to my query in less than two days. As he needed to special-order them, I didn't expect the package for at least 2-3 weeks. However, I returned home to find them on my doorstep on Nov 11 -- just 8 business days from Silver Spring, MD to Irvine, CA.

Friendly service, speedy delivery, and very reasonable prices. I will certainly keep Discount Knives in mind for future orders, and encourage you to do so, too --

Same here. I've ordered multiple knives from his site and have always received them in 10 days or less...usually under a week. Prices are some of the best I've seen also.
 
Has anyone utilized the 10% guarantee from Discount Knives? The one that stated that if a knive is sold on another site for less, Discount Knives will sell the knife at the other site's price minus 10% .. just wanted to know whether if it is for real ...

I tried to utilize it once after finding a knife at a cheaper price elsewhere, but failed.
