Hi all - I know that I've been pretty quiet for the past week or so, but we were at Disneyland this week with my daughters 2 BFFs and their families. We had a great time, we were at Disneyland for 7 days, 5 days with the others. The other families flew back home on Friday, we drove down, so we had a stay over in Solvang, CA (a Danish town), and pick up some super delicious Danish Butter Cookies! 4 Buckets worth (5 dozen per)!
We have premium annual passes, my daughter has been to Disneyland over 30 times, and she is just 6 years old, so of course, we were the guides lol. We fitted what average families do in 3 days into just one day, so we were really moving every day, of course having a disabilty pass helps a lot in getting through the lines....lol.
It was sooo hot and humid (high 90's, low 100's, humidity 70% and up) all week, it was not normal SoCal weather for September, but we made the most of it.
We got some strange looks, because we had a very diverse group, but hey, we get along swellingly, and that is all that matters. We had Asian, Fijian/Indian, and Irish/Japanese/Swiss families all hanging together and having a grand time! We sometimes had staff asking where is the rest of our party, and we had to say, "right here!", then they would become "red faced", because they didn't expect us all to be together in one party...lol
Here's some pics of our vacation.
Here we are on the first day waiting for Disneyland to open. My daughter is wearing her Zarina the Pirate Fairy costume dress.

Here we are with Mickey himself!

The BFFs, all dressed as Elsa from Frozen, and one Rapunzel.

Meghan, Alyssa, and Ella sitting together for some ice cream in 105 degree weather! Thank goodness we were inside with A/C. The girls went to pre-school togther, have known each other for 4 years, they now all go to different schools, but are tight as ever.

Alyssa and Ella giving Pluto a hug at Goofy's Kitchen.

Alyssa and Ella ran into and took a pic with Tigger in the park.

My daughter and I at Solvang, CA

This restaurant is the BEST in Solvang for Aebleskivers and medisterpoles sausage! It was super yummy!

Had to take a pic in front of the windmill!

Birkholm's Danish Bakery! Best butter cookies anywhere! We don't know the guy standing there?! He looks kinda out a place, yeah? My daughter and wife rushed inside to get in line for their Danish rolls filled with fresh whipped cream, and homemade jam, that's just delish, but alas, I'm diabetic...
We bought 20 dozen of their butter cookies, that's 4 buckets. Of course, we're giving 2 away to other families, but we keeping 2 for ourselves....

I've also got a Purna Kothimoda with a bone handle coming very soon, what a nice surprise to come after a vacation! Pics coming when it gets here!
