Displaying your knives

So I have been collecting knives for ages and have never really had a way of organizing them that suited me. Little plastic displays and a modified challenge coin display are my "success" stories. Everyone here spends too much money on knives, I REALLY want to see how you organize/display them. Pics and where you got your set up would be awesome. If you made it yourself, I am interpreting any posted pictures as a release of any sort of patent and I am cleared to make my own (with attribution, of course). Thanks all!

I have a conundrum of sorts. I want to display my knives. But I also like to see them in their sheaths.. some sheaths cost quite a bit and look good. So which to display, regardless of how to display?
Also
My wife is not a fan or stabby things. So. There is the most significant challenge to displaying my knives.

My "display" game sucks but here you have it. The drawers are quite a bit deeper and longer than they look but then again, some folks like Chip buy a house for their knives and then happen to cohabit with 'em 😂

Here are some builds and purchases from the last year or so.
It's not a display, but you can see a display box I have for a dagger at the back.
My wife mostly ignores my knives although my completed Smatchet elicited a "holy shit".
I have gotten away with a waki and tantos over the fireplace.
Some have been stashed in a modular shoe rack in the basement.
We will move into a new house in August. I think I'll take design inspiration from Knives Out.

I have a H Gerstner & Son's vintage machinists chest. Circa 1945. Several drawers of folders and maybe 10 fixed blades. The chest itself is the showpiece, and being filled with knives... Makes it fin to explore.

Rest of the kit is in a Craftsman 5 drawer top-box tool chest in the garage. Stuff moves out to the garage now and then, and vice versa.

Got my anti-people pole a.k.a. my Iklwa next to my trusty ghetto -fabulous-extreme-violence-abdominal- ventilator K18 by my computer.

Haven’t gotten these any further on display. Honestly surprised my wife hasn’t accosted me for having them in relative sight lines.9B8271A9-1D5C-452B-A43C-BDF2F50F9A6E.jpeg
