i was looking awhile back and ran across a thread on knife kits.
there was a website that had the best selection i ever seen.
they had trappers,soctors,even automatics,stilettos,etc.
i can't seem to find the place and been thru about 10 pages of google.
can someone point me to the knife kits i am thinking about?
it isn't knifekits.com.
there selection isn't that varied when it comes to slipjoints, and that is what i want.
i am just starting out,and need a little more practice before i build my own.
i do like to assemble, the pins, scales, etc but am not ready to go all the way.

thanks for any help,
jd

usaknifemaker.com?

that is a good source, but i don't currently have a way to heat treat the steel.
when i do,they will be the ones.
right now though,i am looking for the site that
had all these great selection of folders that you had to put
together, but all the parts were there.
not sure bout the handles, but pins, etc. were furnished.
maybe someone will chime in.
thanks for the link though, been there already.

thanks for all the good info guys, but i am looking for slipjoints.
like to find a whittler,trapper,stockman,doctors,etc.
just the old style slipjoints.
i like to put the ones together that take pins best.the lockbacks
and tacticals are not for me.

dwight,that is a good site.
but the place i was referring to had the bolsters, pins, etc.
included.
they also had automatics of diffrent styles, types.
at least 2 or 3 diffrent stilettos,types,etc.

maybe someone will chime in because i remember it really well.
all but the name,duh.lol
