Some of you may have seen my post in snark on how hard it is to drill through a remora... Well, I'm committed to it now..

Ill update this thread as I make progress but it'll be a side project so dont expect it to be ready tomorrow :D

The ones one it right now are 1/8 thick aluminum. Im planning on polishing them then putting on some walnut onlays. I might pick up some micarta for it though.
 
Is it going to be a flipper? I saw you left the finger guard on...

Im still trying yo work out a few things with the handle. I dont think it would work too well as a flipper as I was going for a friction folder, but I might be able to come up with something.
 
UPDATE!

So I had a few minutes to myself so I decided to drill the scales for the stop pin, I also had to cut up the finger guard to allow room for the blade to pivot. I also drilled the hole for the stop pin too big so I need to make new scales.
