that looks great DJ! it's really comin along, isnt it. Keep up the good work, im really enjoying keepin up with your WIP, it's a really cool idea.
 
Also wanted to show how little room there was between the handle and tang. The blade doesn't go off center no matter how loose the pivot it. Excuse the black lines my camera was going crazy taking this picture.

Definitely a lanyard hole. I was thinking about a clip but broke the only tap I have for screws that small on my bike. I also thought about a simple leather pouch to wear on the belt.

Wow man. Ambitious project. Looking good so far. Fun to see the project unfold. Props for diving right in. "custom remora" takes on a whole new meaning with your creation.
 
Wow! look at that. Great progress on this project. Do you have a name for your creation yet? One of the most unique **and successful I might add** mods to a BK knife I've ever seen. I bet if you put some oil on that wood the grain would really pop.
 
Dj I gotta hand it to ya buddy. For a knuclehead like yourself I'm impressed! :D seriously though. Man good for you. You took a idea and ran with it. I love this kind of stuff. My hats off for havin the balls to do it. Well done.

There's a few small gaps in the handle towards the end that I'm going to try to fill in. Then I *might* call it done.
 
Great WIP thread, and nice mod.
I don't have the guts to do that to a perfectly good knife, for fear that I'd wind up busting something.
Good job pulling it off! You should be proud to carry that in your pocket.
