Thanks Todd, means a lot coming from someone like you. As for the knife I'm working on it a few minutes at a time. I have the inside of the handles polishd nicely and might try to shape them tomorrow.

Once the handles are done I'm going to finish the tang and the scales. As for the stop pin hole, it's filling with epoxy as I type because my counter sinking method sucked big ones...

Got some sanding fitting and epoxying done still needs a little more sanding but i'm almost there...

Now, one thing that's definitely going to drive me nuts is this...

Cut the pin (OK, screw) to short and slipped so now it has a nice grove in it. Too bad its epoxied in.
 
heat it up and the epoxy will melt.
boiling water might be hot enough even.
