"Oh I get by with a little help from my friends,
Mmm, I get high with a little help from my friends,
Mmm, I get knives with a little help from my friends."

Awesome collection BT. The bronze hardware with the DLC and cf scales looks outstanding. I quoted a Beatles lyric in class the other day and my students looked at me like I was some kind of an idiot. I told them first person to tell me the band and song that the lyric came from gets 5 bonus points on the next quiz. Not one kid knew the answer! A student had to look it up on his smartphone. Very sad.

isnt that sad Jensen?? Im not that old, but atleast I know my classic music! ;)

Lol! The Beatles are bit ahead of my time, I'm happy to say. But, on the flip side, there's a whole lot more stuff on the "classic rock" station than I'm entirely happy with

Yea they were a bit ahead of my time too. I was 2 when John Lennon was shot. I have a few of their albums though. Good stuff.

I'm a bit ahead of you then, not much though.. Never had much opinion of them either way, I'm more of a Pink Floyd fan - I think it may have been my lullaby music… Dark Side might fit in with black DLC...

I split a lot of firewood as a kid while listening to Hair of the Dog or AC/DC...

When Rick was forging his first knife back in 1987 in Lori"s dad's turkey coop the radio was most likely blaring "Walk Like an Egyptian" by the Bengals #1 hit at that time. If he accidentally got one of those hot ambers on him he might have been doing that dance. Or maybe the #2 hit "Alone" by Heart was playing and starting off on a new venture may have been how he was feeling. I think Lori was encouraging Rick while the song " Nothing Is Going To Stop Us Now" by Starship could be heard faintly over the sounds of Rick's hammer striking the red hot billet against the anvil shaping that first blade.

Or maybe he was thinking how is this all going to turn out while "Livin On A Prayer" by Bon Jovi was softly playing above the sound of his sputtering homemade furnace. Of course Billy Idol's Mony,Mony is just what this new venture was exacting from his bank account. Rick had now met his "Point of No Return" and during the "Heat of The Night" he pulled his first knife, a simple Tanto design from the furnace. As he was admiring his finished knife Michael Jackson's voice could be heard on the radio exclaiming it's "Bad" (meaning good, very good)

What's that you say, Rick didn't have electricity in the coop.
