but I do edc a Heavy Duty (Active Duty variant) and still get some funny looks at times.
For you?
Fat GW, although I reshaped the handles on mine. Feels much better in my hands now.
Yes, yes they are, but just a tad thinner, but.... I'm sorry but I miss your point? Though if its that the milliganza AD's are less expensive then yes! I'd go for the Milli's now, there's more of them out there and thus they are a bit less. The old Heavy Duty is very similar to the newer MilGanza AD.
Liu Kang - "I think the FXM is a nice knife but way over rated. I can say this cause I had one which was hand ground by Rick himself. It is also overprice. GW and ADs are great knives and are proven. Can't go wrong with either!"
Mine is hand ground by Rick. Overpriced is what the knives are in your for sale threads.
You will see that I advocated and that I EDC the game warden. I threw the FXM out as a serious choice but also as a joke in the Busse forum. You coming in with a sales pitch pisses me off.

That's a slick mod. Tom!
email sent. In case you didn't see it, this is the Busse Forum, and I do like and collect Busse. I'm not pitching anything here. If you want to tell how great the FXM is, Rick Hinderer has his own forum, you can go over there.

LK, I'm curious if you have used a Hinderer, an Active Duty, or a Game Warden? The OP asked about EDC usage.

Yes I have.
Then pray tell... Don't be so tight-lipped with those comparative details.![]()
Well, 230grains isn't new to Busse, he knows them well. He knows how big his hand is and which one would fit his hands better. Busse comes in all sizes and thickness for a reason, everyone likes something different. Only 230grains knows what his daily use for a Busse knife is. I mean, I know someone that carries and uses a NMFBM LE the most. He does demolition for construction so a Bear Cub wouldn't do him much use... A different knife for every use. So if he is going to go hunting and skin animals a lot, he may like the .22" Hack with the satin blade because that choil will feel great but he may not want something that thick, and may want a slicer so may want to go with a BAD or .14" GW. But he said that he might break it in half or may go a lot easier on it. Yes, the .27" GW is great but it's not a slicer, and depending on how big his hand is and what he feels is the most comfortable is what is best. He also will take into account how thick he wants his blade. We all know that both the GW and AD came in over 6 different thickness and he knows that too. That's why I said that either one is a good choice... So only he can decide. I can't tell people what to choose, my hands and preferences are different then everyone else's.
So tell me what you want to do with it, what you like, how big your hands are and about how much you want to spend, and I can tell you what is probably the best knife for you.
