Do not buy knives there!!!

I too have had some problems with discountknives, but in general, I have had good experiences. They have great prices, selection and fast service. However, one time I did order from them and they lost my order. I'd say give them another shot: Brian won't let you down.
 
Doubt my story? I have ordered one Emerson Commander combo and a solingen razor for around $ 223 by check. The lost of $ 25 was form the bank to cancel the payment( I'm going to deal with the bank later) They said I did not placed an order or have no records. I have enough !! I sent several E-mails and final even an warming letter (threaten with cancel the orders) but they have no word no any respond in two weeks interval. Some members may thought that I represent some dealers. why I did not pick up " kinve outlet " or "Knive center" or many many others.
 
CAN`T SAY ENOUGH ABOUT TRIPLE AUGHT DESIGN....PATRICK`S THE MAN WHEN IT COMES TO DETAILS, QUESTION & SERVICE !! I RECOMMEND HIM TO EVERYONE...I`VE NEVER WAITED MORE THEN 1 DAY ON A SHIPMENT ALTHOUGH I PROBIBLY BUG THE HELL OUT OF HIM CALLING ALL THE TIME HE STILL COMES THROUGH WITH FLYING COLORS !!! IM MAKEING ANOTHER CALL RIGHT NOW !!!!

Chill, as my kids would say. No one doubted your word, just requested more information to help sort this out. This forum is generally about helping the other fellow forum members.

We still do not know the exact dealer and their web address. You ordered over the web but sent a check for payment or did you order when you snail mailed the check?

The US Postal Service took 23 days to deliver a first class letter containing a US Postal Money Order that I sent as payment to another forum member. Sure, I was upset, but not with the seller. I paid him with PayPal, and he had his money immediately. When the money order finally arrived, he sent it back to me. If the check has never been cashed, maybe your complaints should be directed to the Post Office. We are here to help but it is hard to give useful advice w/o all of the facts.

Sorry about the bad experience in ordering. It does sounds like your check may have been lost in the mail. That has happened to other BladeForums members! Eating the $25 cancellation fee from the Bank isn't great either. Sounds like this ordering experience has been really frustrating.

I hope you finally get the knife and razor you tried to order. I really like my Emerson Commander a lot. If this is your first one, you're in for a treat.


 
I also apologize that I did not believe your story. There were many complaints about DK before that just posted once and disappeared.

Also when dealing with Brian, use your credit card and e-mail and I am sure you will be satisfied. It is also safer than sending check by mail.
