This is my first post in this section. Not because I have'nt ever dealt with jerks befor but I never felt the need to name call atleast not since Jr. High school anyway. Buisness is buisness and I keep most of it private but this fella OWL is starting to push my buttons. I'm sure some of you have seen his posts about me. Here goes:
Owl and I commited to a trade, I send him a Luminox Navy SEALS dive watch and a Spyderco Michael Walker Zytel and he sends me a Commander that he altered a bit by buffing the area where a bolster would be to give the appearance of a bolster. Basically he was getting the better end of the deal as both of the items i sent him together were worth far more than his Commander. Mine were also brand spanking new and his was used definately used and altered. I wanted one though and figured what the hell let me just do it. A buddy of mine was taking a trip to South America where as I'm sure you know it's not exactly safe for tourists. He needed a good strong and especially fast knife. He saw the Commander and fell in love so I let him have it to take with him. Manuel ofcourse decides after a few days to undo the trade as he did'nt feel satisfied. Me in my suprise e-mailed him wondering as to how I can satisfy him now that the Commander was gone from my possession. He then starts getting angry and arguing with me vaguely ofcourse and wants the following in place of the merch., I originally sent : a BM 710 NIB plus $20. + the Walker zytel NIB. As you all know that exceeds the value of the knife he sent so I saud well how aboutt the 710 and the $20. and I get back the Walker if you did'nt already use it. He refuses this offer and then refuses to negotiate at all and instead goes off to post against me on the forums. That then tore ot for me and made it (ofcourse) impossible to deal with him any further. On his post (if my memory serves me correctly)a couple of forumites leave reply's saying the same things I was saying as they had the same trouble with OWL. He apparently cannot commit to trades. I also got e-mail directly from other forumites who backed me up as they also had similar dealings with him. Basically if you deal with this guy you're just wasting your time and postage $$. You can go read his psot against me a judge for yoyrself. One thing is I totally stand by everything I've said about him and if yoy read through his posted communications between him and I you'll see that I made a serious effort to satisfy him but also made an effort to not be taken advantage of. Now he wants to name call......I can be very good at that Manuel (OWL) so don't continue your school yard crap with me it's just stupid get over it and move on dumbass !
