Do shave with your EDC?

So does anyone else shave with their regular EDC? I'm not sure why I get such a big kick out of it; I guess I feel like I'm Crocodile Dundee or something.

Just wondering if I'm the only one...
 
I've done it once out of curiosity, I think I need to improve my sharpening skills before I'd be willing to do it daily
 
I have, for no good reason. But no... I don't. I only shave about once a week and that is just to trim back down to stubble. I like my scruff.
 
Schick Quattro, it does the work of four knives in one convenient application...


But yeah I shaved with a Dogfather a couple times too.
 
I only shave my arm hair to see how sharp my knife is. I have a hairly right arm and a patchy left arm. :o
 
I have an electric razor for travel, a double edge razor for weekends and a gillette fusion for when i don't have time to do all the prep for a double edge shave. I've never shaved with my EDC knife, except for some arm hair to test sharpness.
 
I've done it a few times....

It's pretty satisfying to start out in the morning with a shave with a scary sharp large sebenza...
 
I normally use a straight razor but 1 or 2 time a month I pick a random knife on my shelf, sharpen it and shave with it.
Its just a fun past time and it really makes you look at the term "Shaving sharp" in a hole other light.
 
Nah, I've shaved with a Mach 3 for the longest time. I'll keep the razors for shaving and the knives for cutting everything else I need to cut. Besides, I look like a jackass with a dozen small pieces of toilet paper stuck to my face!
 
I just gave it some thought and figured my electric does a fine job so why would I want to slice my face off.
 
If I were to shave with my EDC (ZT 0301), I'm afraid I'd shave at-least 1/2 my face off.:eek:. I use a Braun elect. razor to shave with.
