Matt , those handles are WOW, some of the best canvas I've seen , what is that hand shaped ?

Yes!..bring on the RMD pics. I have heard such good things about this little knife that I ordered one last night. black w black canvas :)
this will be my first experience w the SR-101

Hey, that's awesome! I tried to order mine with just info but they said it was either logo or no logo so I ordered no logo but they must have forgotten because I got them today and all have a logo. Oh well, at least I got em.

You might try offering 'gifts' to those with pull in the future, that always seems to be a good strategy I think…. :)

OK, all you Du fans. Question. There have been many flavors of the RMD. I have had two in the past and sold them before even trying them out. Some regrets.

The INFI gods allowed me to score an INFIManDu from the 'Ganza. W00T! But it came with such a thick edge. :( 0.035" thick at the edge bevel. Are they all like that? Why so thick on a medium size utility knife? IMHO, it should be under 0.020" for improved slicing. Trying to decide if I should dump it, send it out for a regrind, trade down for a SR101 version and send that out for a regrind, or ???

Remember, geometry cuts.

Of those three you mentioned, door number three would be my choice. At least if you still don't care for the final product, I'm sure somebody here would see the value in it.

You could always regrind it or an SR-101 CG yourself too, maybe practice on some cheaper knives if you aren't feeling too confident. A coarse waterstone would work, if you have a good one it probably won't take too long either. Could't say whether taking it to a belt grinder would be a good idea though, unless it's water cooled.

Thank the warranty, and the scores of people that choose to abuse the knives because of it.
(My opinion, of course)
