Do you carry a knife at home?

I didn't read through this whole thread, so maybe someone has already asked this, BUT! The more important question is, do you have a knife on you WHILE you're in the shower?!?!?
This whole thread makes me think: if you're home, and unless you're naked for some reason, why WOULDN'T YOU haver a knife on you?
You guys don't have neck knives for these situations?

Been running into this lately. My Classic and little Olight i1R are attached to my keys and are typically dropped in a tray when I get home. Invariably, I find something come up where I need one of those two items and have to go grab them. So, I just went on Amazon and ordered another of each item. Gonna throw them on a little loop of paracord and keep in my pocket.

I guess that is the pattern off behavior I don't understand. I can understand the dropping of the keyring in a tray, why carry the car key fob, and other keys in the home. But it's given that either the better half or the dog will make me need something before the night is over. The wife will need me to fix some necklace latch, or the dog will be worrying a paw and I will need my little Fenix E01v2 whatever to see well and find the little burr up between the paw pads, needing the tweezers from my little SAK to extract it. Or I'll chip a nail on some home thing where "Some assembly is required" and the little SAK SD tip works fine on the small Phillips screws to assemble. Then I need the nail file to smooth off the rough finger nail that is catching on my sweater. Or the dog is obsessing over something under the couch, and I need my little flashlight to look, and find her spiky ball toy had rolled under there. Between the spousal unit and the dog, I'm kept busy. The wife gets packages from Amazon and gives them to me with the oft repeated, "Can you open this for me?" She has me well trained after more than a half century of being her aid and support unit.

I guess I've found the small SAK sooooo damm handy, as well as the little flashlight, that they are on me right up until I go to bed.

The real question of the thread should be "Who wears pants at home?"

I don't understand the question. Why wouldn't I carry a knife at home? I carry a knife so I can cut things. Sometimes I have to cut things when I'm at home.

Yes. If I'm wearing pants or shorts, I have at least one knife on my person. Lately, when I want to go ultra-light, I've been carrying the Boker Plus Double Detent Barlow Flipper. It's very small and light but still has excellent steel.
