Hi guys,
I know similar questions have been asked in the past, regarding specific places, scenarios, etc. And perhaps even this has been asked in the past (likely, I suppose).
But in the recent "long road trip" thread had a pretty cool, if somewhat inaccurate "map" of U.S. knife laws (a more accurate version of this would be cool also) and the general consensus is, we've a pretty hodgepodge mix of laws here, state to state.
I'm sure most of us here make it a point to know our state laws, and perhaps every state's laws on this subject. My question is, do you carry what you want regardless of length restrictions, etc? I don't carry switchblades or ballistic knives (illegal in my state anyway) and my state has a pretty lenient view on blade length so I'm usually good... I don't think I've ever gone over because I've never carried a 5" folder.
Just wondering if any of y'all might carry something that isn't explicitly legal, because it's a knife you like, etc. Thanks guys.
