The lanyard that came with my knife was very pretty and clean looking but I did not like it. I do like what I call "pinky" lanyards and made one. Do you lanyard, bro? :D

The first thing I do when I get a new crk knife is take off the lanyard.

I went lanyard-less for a while but like having a lanyard so I switched in one of the CRK blue ringed lanyards a little while ago. Was running green paracord in between the original and the current CRK one.

I like a lanny bananny. Helps me when les fingers are fumbling in the pockets for le tool (huh?).

Plus- you know- if I make it like 9' long out of static line, I can use it to lash together a quick shelter when, you know, the SHTF. I kid. I do lanyard tho.

I put cammo paracord on all my CRK's . I like the lanyard to orient my hand to pull it out of my pocket.

I got the upgraded crk lanyards for both my sebs.
Makes It easier to grab when hands are slippery from my pocket (clipped).

Why do you need a lanyard on the end of any knife..... A lanyard sticking of the pocket looks odd, strange, weird to me.

I have them on some, and not on others.
I really like them on the smalls. I don't have a problem getting all four fingers on my small Regular, but I do on my small Classic. The lanyard helps with that.

I also have one on a large Regular I carry. I don't mind the looks of a simple one, and I'll use it to pull knife from pocket. I don't have one on my large Micarta, so it doesn't really matter either way on a large(for me).

Don't care for the overly large ones though, and especially dislike the ones with skull beads.

I make mine long enough to tuck in my pocket when just walking around. The swivel function of the Sebenza is great for that! But when I am using it it normally gets put away and retrieved multiple times. It's nifty to be able to just grab the small lanyard sticking out of your pocket and pulled the knife back out.

Funny, after taking off the lanyards on my Sebenzas when I first got them, last night just for fun I took off the clips, put in the fillers and reinstalled the lanyards. Nice to have the option. (Also took the clips off my Mnandis and installed free CRK-supplied screws. Really a sleek look and feel and they fit easily in their leather pouches.)

There was a poll on this a while back. About a 50/50 split if I remember right. I was part of the 50% that voted for lanyards. Have them on both my CRKs.

My small Seb has a lanyard. I find it functional and it doesn't show. I usually dress casual with my shirt untucked, because I CC. The lanyard makes it easy and quick to pull out the knife. Somehow how I don't want a lanyard on my Umnumzaan.

I have taken them off my small 21, large Insingo and 25 but left the one my Startac. I don't know why I leave it on, maybe it's the little Wilson bead ... anyway it's still on for now.

Depends on my carry method. If I carry the knife in my pocket, I take the lanyard off. But with the pretty knives that I carry in the leather pouch I leave the lanyard on.

I've been contemplating a lanyard with a nice bead, but to date, no. First thing I do is remove the lanyard.

If I ever decide I need to carry a small, it will probably have a lanyard.

Same here, first thing to go. Not that I dislike them. Unless it's a really short one they would get in the way of opening and closing. CRK's lanyards are a good length I simply got turned off lanyards. If anything I prefer a very short knot, preferably leather. Either way, whatever floats your p$!¥s.
