Do you even lanyard, bro?

I like the fob style lanyard on CRK's. They work really well with the lanyard pin and make it easier to pull from the pocket.

Here are my well carried CRKs with lanyards.

 
Only when I'm 'on-water' and it's tied to me.
Used my lg sheby more than once, to cut kelp from a prop.

Put the gray Ti CRK lanyards on all of mine, primarily for looks. I'm going kayaking today and am going to slip a longer one affixed to my belt up under the clip as a backup to make sure I do not lose it.
 
I generally don't keep lanyards on my folders, but find they look better on CRKs than anything else.
 
I changed my lanyard color to match the blue on my insingo. Monday I will get my Hinderer blue titanium bead and put it all together. I think it will kick!
 
Always lanyard, I wear heavy leather gloves for work. They really help in removing my knife from my pocket due to the dexterity in the gloves suck, so any extra purchase is a plus for my uses.
 
I really only find it useful if I'm going to carry the small in the pouch. Either by laziness or convenience, I'm still running the small with clip and no lanyard. I prefer low profile and didn't like the lanyard sticking out of my pocket like an alfalfa sprout. I also don't really get the skull bead/multiple bead thing and have found this to be a popular thing on some other subforums in my time there, but to each his own.
 
Yeah, I lanyard... LOVE the lanyards on the Chris Reeve knives...

Im trying to figure out exactly which lanyard I am going to buy for my soon to be in the mail umnumzaan.... want one of the "upgraded" ones for it...

You made these lanyards or did you buy them..? and where'd ya get the beads from ?..

If ya made them what exactly are they called.? I would like to replace the black normal lanyards that my sebenza's have from factory... with ones styled the way you do, and would like to throw a bead on aswell..

again any info on this would be much appreciated (any1!)

Also, for the small 21's ... does normal 550 cord work? or is a smaller size needed to fit through the hole of the spacer?

I assume 550 will work on an umnumzaan or large 21?...

Again, any info would really help me out, thanks guys.

You know...I was thinking the same thing. Very nice. It doesn't look super complicated, but I'm all thumbs.

Royal blue type 1 paracord, same snake knot layard as CR with a Ti Hinderer Mt. Saint Helens bead. I think the cordage might be to small.
 
I recently got a Lg CRK with a small piece of paracord with a monkey fist on the end. This is definitely the best lanyard I've found. Works phenomenally well to pull the knife out of the pocket

The middle one is just a Sebenza backspacer. Look on paracord.com and plazacutlery.com for the others.
 
Not usually, however the lanyard that comes with the Carbon Fiber models is just to appealing not to use.
