I tried doing that one or twice. Did not work well for me. The pattern was like this:
I am sure there is a psychiatric term for this behavior...
- Find something that fits my needs perfectly
- Then find out it is discontinued, so get another, "just in case" the first gets lost or damaged
- Later, find the next "must have"
- Determine that the "second" is not actually serving an active purpose
- Sell it to use the value towards the next purchase
- Do the math and find out that this is not an economically sound methodology
I am sure there is a psychiatric term for this behavior...
