I've never seen one of these before but DAMN that is sexy. See what I mean Ernie cranks out some fine looking blades.

If only that sucker was drilled and tapped for ambidextrous carry I seriously might over look the liner lock LOL I'm so conflicted. Sigh.

You can get almost all Emersons drilled and tapped on either side , its $25 extra, there's a choice before you add it to a cart.

The iron dragon I had was one of the few that could not be tapped for ambi carry.. A real bummer as I'm a forward waver.

Unfortunately the Apache is a limited signature series signed by the man himself. And they're all gone...but keep an eye out in the secondary market. I'm sure one will pop up. I'm headed to Emerson on Thursday and I'll ask if he's planning to make more.

How do you like the launch 5?

I've had a Launch 2 and 3 and felt they were pretty good for the price.
 
The 5 is executed perfectly IMO. Another great Emerson design. Emerson knows how to build a great feeling handle. The spring fires nicely. I have a small launch and it's great too
 
If you can find yourself a gypsy...do it. It's a sick knife. I want to "gypsy" it up in the near future. Here's a couple pics from another forum...not my pics but man they're nice.
