do you feel naked without your knives?

i know i do.

when i get ready to go i get my wallet first, knife, and then keys.
in that order.

i just don't know when i will need it. family doesnot understand that if i leave home without it i complain a little just because there is never a day that goes by that i don't use it.

so i leave one in the car just in case. :D

Yea I have a few in my truck in various locales. I rarely if ever forget to put one in my pocket but , if I do I got backups :)

Yes. I hold an office position, and I wear a Puma Duke on my belt. When an occasion calls for a bit more formal dress, it is a Marbles safety folder. Oh, and there's ALWAYS a Victorinox small Swiss Army. The one with the toothpick! I am almost never without a blade.

I am not a guy, but I DO feel naked without a knife!! I don't go anywhere without a knife; unless I absolutely HAVE to or it is illegal for me to have one. It is the first thing I grab after I get dressed in the am, I grab my knife.

About the only time when I don't carry a knife when dressed is the vanishingly few times that I go to an airport. I guess that I won't take one to Arlington Hospital when I go in for my knee replacement. :)

Yes I do. I have a Leatherman Squirt on my keychain, so if I forget my knife, I atleast have the squirt.

I never leave home without one but if somehow I did, I also keep a swiss card in my wallet which doesnt have much in the way of a blade, but still it is a useful tool I love to have as well.

I have a Victorinox Nite Manager on my keychain so I at least have one at minimum whenever I leave the house. Then most of the time I have Victorinox Fisherman that I drop in my right pocket before leaving, but sometimes I do forget it.

One of the first things I do after getting out of bed in the morning is to slip on my neck knife (a tiny little Rob Simonich Bitteroot in Talonite). One of the last things I do before getting into bed at night is to hang it on the bedpost.

I would never think of leaving the house without a knife. It always feels strange when I have to go somewhere that knives are not allowed.

Yep...cant really ever catch me without a knife. I keep it with my wallet, phone, keys so i always take it. Say for some god awful reason i forget ters always that Buck Gent in my wallet.

Naked and that 'off' feeling. I left home one day without any blades. All day, I felt as if something were amiss; and naked to the world. Since then, I never even put out the garbage without a blade on me and have back ups aplenty in the car.

I know I am never willingly without one. I use a knife just about every day, even if its just to open a letter or package at work. Like many others here, my knife sits on the dresser at night right next to my wallet and keys. I probably forget to take my wallet about as often as I do my knife! ;)

In fact the occasional airline flight is the only time I am ever deliberatly knife-less. :grumpy:

always... and if I forget to put one in my pocket there's one (three, actually) in the truck, another in the briefcase, jacket pocket...

Well, I don't feel naked, but I feel sort of like the only person who didn't get the memo that the party you're walking into was a costume party. My wallet goes in my back pocket first, then my cell phone into the interior right pocket of my jeans, then a knife clipped to my right pocket, keys and a pack of gum in my left, and then a pen and pencil into my right.
