do you guys feel naked without your knives

I know what you are talking about, everyone makes fun of all I carry everyday on the farm but if they need something they come to me, I carry a leatherman wave,ka bar pocket knife,ontario bowie,three ways to make fire, para cord,and a mini survival kit.
 
Yep, I feel naked and incomplete without a knife. It's the first thing into my pocket when dressing and the last thing on the night stand at bedtime :)
 
I forgot my cell phone today.

I have never forgotten to take a knife with me.

I hate flying these days. :grumpy:
 
Same here too.

I usually EDC around 3 folders on me on any given moment, 2 of the 3 go into overnight storage, an the third is kept with me at all times and resides on the night stand by the alarm clock.

To go a bit further with this, if i forget my other 2 EDC's in thier storage when i leave, i still feel a miss without them even though i have my 3rd one on me.

Yup - even though I carry several at all times, except air travel if I forget even one, I feel a little lost. For the most part, air travel is about the only time I don't have a blade on me.

Yeah, sometimes. I'm shopping for a new truck, and have been day dreaming about where I would put them in the cab. With an extended 4 door cab, there are lots of places to put them :). Let's see, Leatherman Juice in the door pocket, Benchmade Nimravus Cub in the center console, Cold Steel Kukri LTC under the rear seat, my EDC clipped to the overhead console............
 
The last time I actually went outside without a knife was when I was called for jury duty a couple months back. Felt like something was missing.
It sucked, and not just because they dismissed me as soon as I checked in.
 
Not only do I fell naked, but I also feel cursed for the day.

If I only forget my knife than things are just a little off.

The one day I forgot my leatherman and my scallion I ended up getting a speeding ticket, getting a jury summons, overdrafting my bank account, fu*king up the road case I was building at work( wasteing 2 sheets of 3/4" ply), and got rear-ended driving home.

I sleep with my leatherman now.

every once in a wile i look down to see if she is still there or pat my leg to see that my blade is not missing
i do feal like there is something missing if my knife is not on my pants
 
Yup! I feel naked without a knife, gun, flashlight, and cell phone.It doesn't happen often, but it happens once in a while.
 
If I leave the house without a knife, I feel positively off!!

I hate flying without a knife too!!
 
I do feel incomplete. Then on the day I don't wear it, I really need it.

I feel naked if I go out without at least one good knife. I also feel naked if I walk out of the house without my pistol.
 
I feel very naked, even when just walking around my house. But I now have a HAK around my neck for eveything but shower and sex and I would not feel naked leaving the house with just that on me. But I rarely forget to bring a substantial primary blade, so no worries. Thinking of putting my other HAK on my keys though.
 
You bet. In fact, for the most part, if I don't have a knife on me, odds are I am naked
 
Prior to 9/11 and for a short time thereafter, I was a computer geek. Able to disassemble one at a moment's notice. My EDC was a Leatherman WAVE, a gift from my son. He knew I was a knife person.

Now I sling dogfood (not quite a living, but welfare ain't an option), clerking in a pet supply store.

First week, was not too comfortable carrying a blade. By week 2, it was obvious I could work better with one, and have never looked back.

Any suggestions for an inexpensive carbon steel lock blade folder? I can't bear the the thought of ruining the edge on my favorite Benchmade 705 (ATS-34) on dirty cardboard. My $12 Ruko RUK00025 is not enough knife (stainless blade of unknown quality, metal and plastic needed smoothing, and the liner lock is highly suspect even after some discreet filework).

Yeah, I feel naked without a blade. Made a cross country trip last year, and just had to put one in the luggage, just to feel normal.
