Be sure to pick up Resident Evil 4 Remake, Spiderman, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake (sequel coming up soon).Well apparently, I'm getting a PS5for Christmas. Didn't ask for it, but my nephews are getting bored with the multiplayer games I have on the Nintendo switch so my mother wants me to have a different system for when I have them over. So, alrighty then. I guess I'll be checking out some of the games y'all have mentioned.
Geeze, are you trying to eliminate his free time for the foreseeable future?Be sure to pick up Resident Evil 4 Remake, Spiderman, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake (sequel coming up soon).
PS5 is almost as good as getting a new knife. Almost.![]()
I'm not into resident evil type stuff, but the other two for sure, especially FF7. I considered being Sephiroth (Super Smash Ultimate version) for Halloween but costumes were like $350+ so that was a big no. I'll probably just wear a sports jersey to work.Be sure to pick up Resident Evil 4 Remake, Spiderman, and Final Fantasy 7 Remake (sequel coming up soon).

If I wanted to, I would’ve recommended Red Dead Redemption 2 and Witcher 3.Geeze, are you trying to eliminate his free time for the foreseeable future?![]()
I’m curious about BotW and TotK, but I don’t have a Nintendo Switch.I'm not into resident evil type stuff, but the other two for sure, especially FF7. norcalAF yeah normally I have barely enough time to hop on Fortnite with my nephews every few days. However, with my knee in a brace for 4 weeks or more if I need surgery, I won't be going to the range or driving my RC car so that frees up time.
I tell y'all what, I wish they made the new Zelda game longer. More shrines, quests, etc. While it was challenging, I still beat it all too quickly. And not just defeating Ganondorf, but finding every lightroot, every shrine, and finishing every quest. I didn't bother with finding every korok, it's tedious and annoying.
Actually, tedious and annoying is what I found the game to be in a lot of ways. There were monsters that weren't challenging but took forever to beat. Looking forward to a DLC, hopefully soon.
TOTK basically had a great boss fight, but BOTW was better at everything else.
I used to have my original PlayStation, and will be getting Madden, NHL, and Gran Turismo for sureon the PS5. Gran Turismo 2 and NHL 99 were two of my favorite games. I also enjoyed Driver 2. I wish Starfield was available on PS5.
I enjoyed BOTW enough to play it for several years. I would try to eliminate every single guardian before the game forced a blood moon. Assaulting the castle was a lot of fun.I’m curious about BotW and TotK, but I don’t have a Nintendo Switch.![]()
Thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts. I’d love to check it out in the future.I enjoyed BOTW enough to play it for several years. I would try to eliminate every single guardian before the game forced a blood moon. Assaulting the castle was a lot of fun.
I think I would have liked TOTK if not for the crafting aspect and some of the monsters that you are required to defeat in order to get certain pieces of armor. In BOTW stealth was a big thing, and you could get most of the chests without fighting monsters if you are clever.
The amiibos in BOTW give better stuff, and there is a glitch you can exploit to copy weapons, shields, and bows (except the master sword). The twilight bow never runs out of arrows.
I like open world games and would like to try more.
I got the switch lite when I was recovering from my hospital ordeal and spending a lot of time in bed. I ended up giving the lite to my nephew and getting the regular switch 2 years ago.
The switch needs more kid friendly 4 player games. Super Smash and Mariokart get old after a while. I need to get my N64 back from my sister do we can get our Goldeneye on. I have all the cheats unlocked. Beetle racing is fun on that too. Kinda like Mariokart but with better weapons.
Don’t forget Cold Steel and its pig carcasses.
Nonsense! Get a couple of new Chris Reeve knives instead. After seeing Gran Turismo at the theater and buying/viewing the DVD at home, I'm REALY tempted to pay for a full on Gran Turismo racing sim setup -- including the chair, pedels & steering wheel, a huge 4k OLED screen, the XBox or PS5 plus the "game itself (which is the cheapest part of the system), the cost of which could easily hit $3-5k.
