  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

Do you have an +$100 EDC..?

Ive been finding myself carrying my ZT0301 on the left and CQC 10 on the right A LOT lately...

Out of my collection of knives, I only have three that are $100+, a Spydie Civilian, and two FG Manixes (Manixii?), one is my EDC, the other is a backup unit in case something happens to the EDC Manix

All my knives are users, yes, even my PE Blue Dodo, to me, safe-queens are illogical, same goes for my EDC flashlights, a Novatac 120P, and a SureFire A2 Aviator with the rare, and much desired "Aviatrix" LED upgrade ring

I carry a BM Nagara that's $100

I'm trying to get another sebenza as a user because my first is so damn beautiful *sobs quietly*

I only have a few 100+ but all get used.

I also use a few 100+ knives every day in the kitchen.

I also use < 20 knives every day around the house.

They all cut well. It just depends on what I'm cutting

All of my EDC knives are $100.00+. I carry one of my stone insert Mini Mojo's and Lone Wolf Double Duty. The Mini Mojo is carried all the time and the Lone Wolf when working in the yard or shop.

My EDC is a Protech Runt with Maple Burl Scales. I paid just over $100 for it.

I really don't believe in safe queens, only pre-need replacements. I use a Spyderco S90V/CF Military for a drywall knife. I carry and use a C44 Dyad that set me back about $160, and a couple of days ago I pulled my C54BMS Calypso out of my pocket to take a bunch of branches off a shrub so I could dig up a buried valve. Come to think of it, I'm generally carrying about a thousand bucks worth of knives at any given moment. :D

As someone else once said, I don't spend over a hundred bucks on a knife so I can baby it. I spend that much so I don't have to.

I EDC a Spyderco ZDP Chinese Lum as of Monday. It's a great knife, I'd be crazy not to carry it. I've also got a Spyderco Persian I EDC and a Benchmade 480. I just don't see the point of safe queens, since they'll probably outlive me anyway.

I EDC'd the heck out of my Caly 3, which was bought for about $130.00, then I recently sold it planning to get the Carbon Fiber version. ...Which I still haven't gotten around to!

and rotate an HK 14210 in and out, which was also around the $130.00 mark.

Which is not to say that my $40-$60 knives don't get a fair amount of play!

I want to carry my Microtech Makora, but the penalty out here (Kalifornia) is less for carrying my .357 snubby!

I have a custom Emerson coming to me soon. Worth well more than I paid. I could probably sell it for $1200. But it's gonna be a user.

I carry a $475 DGG SnG, so yes over $100, that being said it probably cuts cardboard about 1000x worse than a box cutter, lucky for me I use it for other things than cb.

My EDC is a Benchmade Infidel, around $400 or the Rukus $260
