Do you have any favorites which aren't mentioned on the forum a lot?

The AG Russell 3.0 Titanium Lockback.

We get endless threads about gentlemen's folders, knives for the knife shy, key chain knives, and discreet EDCs, and it just does not get mentioned. It's very elegant, not expensive, and about as much knife as can be packed into 3" and one ounce.

Sure. Boker Trance and a Victorinox Cybertool. Not much said about them but they are great.

I bought my Cybertool about 10 years ago and have been EDCing it ever since. I got a mini crock stick sharpener and kept it sharp, but less than a year ago I switched to a strop with green compound and got both blades even sharper - they are so easy to get a good edge on! I'm a computer tech and I really do find this SAK to be a really useful tool to have on hand every day.

Most of my other knives I heard about on these forums, so my favourites are mentioned here quite a bit (RAT-1, Endura, Mora, Opinel, BK-7, BK-9, LM Wave, etc).

Volcan Coronado.
- High blade/handle length ratio. A 3.5" handle covers a 3" blade. Most pocket knives have at least 1" length difference.
- At 2 oz it's one of the lightest frame locks in existence.
- Fit and finish is just excellent, worthy of knives twice its price.
- Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. To this beholder the knife is elegant, and it shows a lot of thought went into it. Despite having FRN scales, it's elegant enough to be carried as a gentleman's knife.
- As if these weren't enough, it's an assisted opener.
- At $25 it's a no brainer buy to me.

just love mini coverts by gerber .I once spent 3 day on board a new fishing boat the only knife on board was the mini covert. It cleaned close to harf a ton of fish lightly sharpened it twice in three days.

The Lone Wolf Harsey T2 Tactical. I bought one with the red and black Micarta handles and liked it so much I immediately started searching for another to put in the safe. (They were discontinued a while back; Lone Wolf only licensed the design for three years.)

I was lucky enough to find two. And even luckier that they were both the limited production models with green and black Micarta! :D
