Wow, I don't think I've seen a thread like this before....when the subject of knife ownership & usage is even hinted at, I'm used to most everyone chiming in to let folks know that only sissies don't routinely fell sequoias with every single knife they own...and then rub extra dirt into the really fancy & expensive ones. Refreshing!

My cat decided that about a grand in knives and leather needed a coffee bath last night. I didn't even need to give them their daily dirt rub, back to usual tonight though.
