Do you need a tang stamp

what size of stamp do thay hold. I have not picked out a stock yet so it can be what ever it needs to be to beable to be held by the evers holder.
I'll have to measure mine but Karl's measurements sound about right. It also needs a hole through for a stop pin that holds it on the spring when inserted. I'll email pics and measurements when I can. All the Evers' should be the same (see pic on right of webpage for holder).

ok yesterday i was playing around with our haas cnc mill and am getting some great results. i need to make a smaller engraving tool to carve the graphite electrode. i have been getting lots of emails so give me time and i will get back to you. my computer has been down and im finley getting it back up. have been using my ps3 to use internet.

yay i am allmost redy to etch the steel blank. but i ran into a little snag. i was thinking the letters would be .035 deap but with a 40 degree angle per side it just washes out the stamp. so im thinking .015-.02 deap at 40 degrees. any ideas, how deap do you norm go.

Ok after much math i got it nailed. The letters are 18 thou tall with a 40 degree taper per side. The stamp will be etched monday i just got the edm electrode done to day. The program i made to cut the electrode is easy for me to change if all you want is words in simple font. Other designs will have to be drawn in auto cad.

I'm interested, simple block letters.

I don't have autocad. That could be a problem. It's pretty simple, just not a modern language alphabet.

I'm new to the logo game, but I just ordered an electric etching machine. Would a logo you made work with my etcher? What would be the cost?

If I sent you a .pdf of what I would like on the stamp
could you work with that?
Did you decide on pricing??
or did I miss that???
