Do you own a knife that is as old as you are?

Hmm, I don't think there are any knives older than me. According to my ex, I'm a neanderthal.
Then, Sir, join Neanderthal's Anonymous!

All you need is a canteen, fire starter and a good knife! We hunt. We gather. We eat.

She can take a hike into Tyrannosaurus Canyon!

Come to and roar with our fire!

1984 Victorinox Soldier. Made in the same year as I was born. Very favorite for me as SAK fan.

I had my grandfather's M3 trench knife from WW 2..Sorry no pics unfortunately....He was a CeeBee ( construction battalion ) in the Pacific theater. Sadly it was stolen by a former roommate years ago..😡

Personally, I'm 1970 vintage!😜.......Back far enough to remember the good stuff from that century and hate what this century has evolved into!!! Here in the USA.......

1996 440V Military with the two screw clip. So that is how I know it's from '96.

This picture also includes the wonderful little one off by Victorinox of the Pharmacy Knife, as well as a since-lost Microtech UTX-75, RIP, and a Rough Ryder carbon steel slipjoint

I have a kukri that is likely older, and a bayonet that is surely older.

Good question though.

I have had some slip joints that were older than I am, and may still have a couple of them squirreled away.

Yes.

One that is older by atleast 25 years. Born a long time ago.

My Uncle earned it.

Fought a Gestapo during WWII.

A knife fight.

I won't provide a picture. I do not want to offend anyone and I don't feel like going to my bank vault.

I don't want to derail the thread explaining myself.
Then please start your own thread just to show the knife and tell the story!
