Do you regularly carry a fixed blade?

I've just put an order in for one of the Leatherman's Badass horizontal/vertical-carry sheaths for my RC-4 because I like the idea of being able to carry horizontally. I would carry my RC-4 on my off time as my knife-support system requires I wear a coat and tie. My question is do any of you regularly carry a fixed blade on your off time and, if so, what type of knife and what type of rig? Pics would be fun.

Thanks!

I carry a fixed blade both on work time and my own time.

I use either an original horizontal sheath from Dozier, or copies I make for other knives.

The only time i carry a fixed blade is when I'm hiking, hunting or camping. For EDC I always carry a folder, usually my Spyderco Native.

No, I'm more a folder guy. I'll carry a fixed blade hiking, but even then it's usually on my pack.

I EDC my Busse ASH-1 strong side at about 4 oclock in a buy brown kydex sheath with a teklok. At work I carry a Rat izula around my neck.

Naw, living in the city, I jut don't have much use for a fixed blade. I only carry them when camping, sometimes when hiking.

While I do carry a couple smaller folders , I have carried a fixed blade ( and tend to use it the most ) for the past 5 years or so , carried a BM210 for a couple years , then switched to a Rinaldi Matrix for a couple years , and have been carrying one of my EDFU models since May of this year.
Each of the fixed blades has had a blade of under 3" , and is worn daily horizontal carry just to the left of the belt buckle. Carries well , out of the way and un-noticed when wearing an untucked shirt.

A fixed blade does not need to be large to be useful :)

Yes. Spyderco Swick in a pocket sheath in my rear pocket, or horizontal in some kydex with a tek lok at 11 o clock. I have an Izula in the mail that will probably see EDC time on my belt. My Buck Hartsook that I recently remembered I had goes in a pocket sometimes. Every once in a while I'll clip my Spyderco aqua Salt to my waistband at 4 o clock, but that's usually when I'm doing outdoors activities that require it.

I've found myself gradually becoming more interested in EDCing fixed blades. No pivots to gunk up, no screws to loosen, to locks to worry about, no blade play etc. Many plus sides to a fixed blade.
