Do you sleep with your khukuri?

When I first got my 20 inch Villager Sirupati, I slept with it next to me in bed. I selected this one over my other 20 inch Villager Sirupati, because it can be drawn quickly and easily.

However, police would not like me using it on a human being, and I wouldn't like the mess, so I have switched to sleeping with a four and a half foot staff, or a Canemasters cane. (Criminals are not too serious here.) We also have children in the house. I now keep the khukuri in the closet next to the bed, and the other knives out of reach of the children.

The Hanuman Special is at the top of the bed post. The "plain blade" I finished is right below it for now. And on the floor leaning against the wall next to the bed and behind the door is most of the rest of them. Barb, definitely Not a "khuk",

has her 15"AK and village "balance" model next to her side of the bed along with the single shot 20 Ga. on the wall.

When I get my other YCS models one of them will replace the "plain blade" hanging on the bedpost.
