Do you still have your first Spyderco?

I still have my first Delica. It’s blue with a fully serrated edge and the clip is molded in the plastic. Can anyone date it and tell me what the steel is? I’m thinking early 90’s but I don’t have the box. Thanks

My first Spyderco was a PM2 blackout in s30v
I have destroyed it while testing its limits
I have been so impressed that is still have always kept a PM2 in my rotation
So I don’t have my original first one but still have similar ones

Still have, and use my first, which is a blue Delica in VG-10.

I carried that thing for a year clipped to the inside waist of my surf shorts.

Had to take it apart a few times to polish up the liners, but it's still ticking along just fine.

My first Spyderco was a Q..(89$).. After 3 days, I took it back, because it was "too expensive" and I didn't feel I would carry it..
That was easily 20 years or so ago.. probably late 90's or 2000..

I have now replaced it and have one..

My "First" Spyderco, that I still have, is a DF2..
A gift from my wife, at the time.
I told her it was a mistake, when I unwrapped it and held it in my hands.

She asked, Why?
Then she realized, by about the 20th one, that showed up in the mail...

Even had custom sheaths made, so I could carry it, scout, as a fixed blade replacement and another spyderco as a pocket knife.

I gave my well used sheath, to a friend and have since stopped carrying this and carry a Tactical Pterodactyl, in its place.

Yep. I am pretty sure that I picked this up in 1992 (not 1993) - a C16P fully serrated G-2 steel from Seki City, after I lost my childhood Buck knife in a move.

That’s exactly what I my first Spyderco was, right down to the Police Model on the blade.
I don’t have it anymore, Probably my biggest regret as far as knives I don’t have anymore.

I wish I still had my first. Mine is somewhere on the side of a random mountain in Logar, Afghanistan. Full flat ground Endura that murdered many an MRE . Was a wonderful knife.

My first one is my only one, a para 3 lw, i did have a regular para 3 also but much preferred the lightweight,

my para 3 lw I've only owned for a few years but for a while it was my only knife and got some serious use, its now in a drawer whilst i find a new washer as the other is gone missing and a new pocket clip as that has vanished and i can't remember where, plus a nice service to get it working at its best again.

Also eying up pm2s for a second spyderco for my small collection
