Do you use your higher-end knives or keep them minty?

Use them, if you dont use a knife whats the point in having it. Wheres the fun in investing in a knife you wont touch Just keep ur money and dont buy the knife if it money ur love. Even car collecters use there cars unless they are one of kind. There beautiful expensive tools but tools are made to be used. Unless its ancient and will break if you pick it up, go cut somthing or chop something it ll make your knifes day. When it comes down too it its just a knife, no reason to be obsessive compulsive about owning and using overpiced/ high end knives. I use even my rare and expensive knives because of what they are.....knives.
 
Other than an Alox sak that I carry for those times it isn't appropriate to use a one hander (work, certain public places) I only have an XM-18 and Large Sebenza. So yes, I do use them.
 
I have a few safe queens but I also have some duplicate users. Best of both worlds.
 
At this point in my life I don't have the time, space, or money for collecting mintys. So if I see something that I like but can't see myself using it I don't buy it. I think it'll be some years before I spend more than 200 on a knife, 200 being incredibly steep to me. 80-120 is more comfortable to me and allows me to put a lot of money into other goals like buying a house.
