Do you use your Sebenza lanyard?

I took mine of on one of my Sebenza's and then put it back on a week later could not get use to it off.. :D

I kept mine on for a while, but it got caught on things too often so I ended up taking it off. It isn't quite as easy to get the knife out of my pocket but at least it is not in the way.

I put a small loop of 550 on my small Sebenza to make it easier to grab. I leave the lanyard on the large.

Well, I EDC the small Sebenza and I've been using the lanyard for a couple of months now; it really works well on the "standard" Sebenza with it's rounded off end. It makes it easier to get the knife out.

I carefully removed it and put it back in the box, got some 550 cord and tied the Key-fob design I prefer, it's basicly a monkey fist followed by an inch or so of square brade. It sticks out of my pocket just enough to give me something posative to grab. I usually just curl my little finger around it and pull, that way the knife comes out in my hand with my thumb directly over the thumb stud!

On my small Sebbie, I put a leather lanyard on it...primarily just for the color!:p

I'm also one of those that takes them off as soon as I get the knife.

I find them useless.

Ah.....I had the same problem at first liked it and didn't like it (the lanyard)

So, I picked up another Sebbie, lanyard on one and (nekkid) off on the other!:D

works well:thumbup: baggie pockets , use the one with the lanyard.

Tight pockets....take the nekkid one!:D

problem solved! and ....if the Mrs. asks why do you have two knives:eek: , just say it's the same...I just take the lanyard on and off!:D

NOTE: if Mrs westllen see's this comment I did not post it! I was hacked!

:D

Thanks, still trying to figure out how to do that monkey fist off a loop like that. And its only 1 wrap instead of 3 right?

I use a bead fob to draw the knife out of pocket/sheath
