Do you USE your Sprints/Exclusives?

"We've built a few collector pieces but most Spydercos are hungry and like to eat. As mentioned, open, close, cut, clean, oil, cut, cut, cut... To a Spyderco, that is living. All of the effort that we put into designing and building the knife is found in using the knife; The horsepower in the steel, the edge, the ergos, sophisticated mechanisms, carefully chosen materials or custom made materials, history of and refinements to the design, etc. Letting it die in the box is to lose 75% of what we put into it."

-Sal Glesser, President of Spyderco

^Love this. And yes, I use them all. Some more than others but yes I use them all. I do admit its hard to describe why I enjoy using them the way I do. Spyderco has a broad and creative line with many variables that change a users experience - sometimes quite dramatically. Whether its learning about the character of a given steel, the feel of the ergos, how the shape of a blade lends itself to my particular cutting task, or simply the feel of it in my hand, I enjoy the experience. Simply can't have that experience without putting that blade to use. Hope that helps.

In HAP40/SUS410 laminate with the spyderedge!

Yeah I would be on board with that one and would indeed like to see how it would perform in Spyderedge. For a long time I've wanted to see how M-4 would do in Spyderedge. With the well defined "belly" the C-60 Ayoob has there are at least 5 to 6 blade steels I would like to try that model to see how it would do in full Spyderedge. I've talked to 3 well known Forumites over the years who agree with me that Spyderco's C-60 Ayoob model is not only one of the best "user" models but in Spyderedge it's just an all out beast of a serrated blade.

I've also been curious as to how XHP would do in full Spyderedge as well.
