Tilley fabrics are boiled before manufacture, so they don't shrink. I just throw mine in the washer and set them out to dry. You can do the old sailor trick of grabbing the brim with both hands and stretching the (wet) hat out over your knee to widen the brim, but I've never needed to do that on a Tilley. They are stout hats.

Throw it in the wash. Or the river, or ocean.
Try to form it back to close to how it ought to look, and then let it dry normally.
Tilleys are great, and my T3 has been with me for years.
