Off Topic DOD EMP drill and Antifa?

Ok, I hate to go this route, but is anyone else aware of all this crap? Seems like this weekend has a bunch of utube chatter of a drill by DOD for a "really bad day scenario" of an EMP knocking out 90% of the power grid. Not to mention the Soros Antifa scheduled protests nation wide. I personally am not worried but was just curious to see you guys' thoughts and opinions. I surely hope this isn't too far off topic....but you guys are the extent of my social media and my only means of contact to a wide band of society. Please ignore if not important, I'v been drinking....alot....and well...questions arise in my head.....lol.....the voices in there are tired so I thought I'd reach out to y'all.

My brother is at Fort Benning in Georgia, the skinny jean wearing, 20 year old liberals are planning to protest there LMAO! I'm praying!

I know I haven't heard or read about it. But then I don't spend much time on the internet other than here and some car stuff ones. I saw on discovery guys selling, building, remodeling bunkers. Some small some huge !! Guess I'll keep a couple points distributors around in case :eek:;):D:D
 
Yea, I just recently saw vids pop up Wednesday of this week. I don't stay too connected to current events, don't even watch the news too often. I was more surprised about the EMP thing...seems a tad concerning cuz.....why would they do that?
 
One thing for sure, I've never in my life saw the emergency system or whatever it's called come on and interrupt my tv like it has lately. Usually or it used to be anyways it would be maybe once a month, late at night.
 
EMP don't hurt my ar, m1a or my busse. I haven't watched the news in over two years. I have enough canned deer meat and vegetables to last 6 - 8 months. Three months fuel for gennie for the freezer and it's hunting season. Rain barrels, 1000 gallons potable water and a freash water spring in the backyard.
 
I worked at a military base in NJ before 9/11 and they where running drilles and heard some odd chatter around base a few weeks before it happened hope this DOD EMP drills are just drills....but dam Flar you are set up...haha that's awsome!

Hell I got a spare room and several cots for the basement. Family lives all around here and are like minded in preparedness. Just good ole country folk. I grew up living off what land can provide, learned it most from my grandparents & great grandparents who lived during the depression.
 
Hope you're right Mur! But you know how whiskey makes ya think.... just sittin here drinking with a big chunk of INFI makes me feel super powered and prepared for anything.
Bring it! Aint no EMP stopping me and INFI!

They don't scare me, but maybe I'll throw the get home bag and two more spare mags in the truck, before going to work tomorrow.
