Does anybody out there use a knife they can't replace?

I few years ago I needed a good fixed blade work knife. I wanted it to be made from D2. At the time, that meant a custom knife. I couldn't afford a custom knife so I borrowed my brother-in-law's Sears grinder and I made one. It works well and it looks pretty good, too. I'm VERY happy with it. I use it but I think I'd die if I lost it because I'll never make another! WAY to much work!

I use a Strider AR. These knives are rarely in stock and when they are, they sell out in a week.

Does that count?

Heck yeah that counts! If you carry a knife that would be hard for you to replace (for whatever reason!) feel free to post!

I'd love to have an AR, but whenever I scrape up that many bones I start getting the itch for a new gun....
