does anyone carry a spyderco as their edc?

ive decided to carry either my native or my caly jr zdp as my edc. theyre just too hard to beat for sharpness, lightness and ease of carry. Anyone else out there feel that way?
 
I edc the Dodo and will sometimes rotate a Delica in.

I think of spydies as workers. I buy them as full on utility, not that I wouldn't pick up a Kiwi if I had a bunch of cash burning a hole in my pocket. :D
 
I've started carrying a Spyderco recently since I got a new Endura. Of course, it didn't replace anything else I carry, I just added it. It's getting tough to find places to clip knives and I have big pockets! :o

Curiously I left the house yesterday without the Spyderco in my pocket. Later that day at the range, the shredded finger tips of my work gloves were annoying me because my left index finger was poking through the end. I wanted to use my Endura to cut the end from the shredded fingers, but I had to resort to using one of my Cold Steel Voyagers instead. It was touch and go for a while, but I managed to pull through be "endeavoring to persevere." :D
 
I rotate between a Caly Jr ZDP and a Viele 2. Sometimes I EDC a BM Mini-Grip in D2.
 
Probably like fully a quarter or a third of the members here carry a Spyderco.
 
Any or all of the below, depending on the day:

Calypso Jr. ZDP
Persian
Chinook II
Native
Kiwi
 
caly Jr ZDP 15% of my time...
and BM940 85% :D

if only the Caly Jr could be 1/2 inch longer... :yawn:
 
Grey VG10 Caly Jr - always in my pocket - always razor sharp. This one gets used more than any other I own - for me, the best knife is the one I use the most - and it cost less than $50.00.
 
I have carried many Spydercos over the years...

Recently it was the Chinook II, but it was just a bit heavy for me to EDC.
Now I have the Atlantic Salt (plain-edge no less) riding in my pocket.

My work EDC is a black Military CE in a BM sheath. When my activity requires a man-bag, my Maxpedition Thermite carries a Manix EDC.
 
Generally, I have an FRN/PE Delica along with my SAK, BM Mini-Grip and Ka-Bar/Dozier folding hunter and LM Wave as a minimum during the week. Most days, a Gray Caly Jr and Centofante III will tag along, and occasionally a paramilitary or something, depending.... Today, in my Maxpedition Versipak Jumbo, I have a Buck/Strider, Spydie 93mm Rescue, and Camillus Becker Necker as well.
