I can see you're getting a lot of Spydie users to stand up. Me, too. I carry a Caly Jr. as one and I often rotate in one of my other Spydie's as the second. Right now I'm having a hard time NOT carrying a Meerkat, but I still have to find time to carry my non-Spydies in there somewhere. While you can't have too many knives, you certainly CAN carry too many (it gets hard to walk with all that weight and bulk after a while...).
I have a Ladybug on one keychain and a Jester on the other. I also carry a Native and Dodo pretty regularly. My knife collection is drastically smaller than it was a few years ago but I will always have a few Spydercos.
I use my catcherman as an on-the-go kitchen utensil. I used to carry a cricket, but I lost half of the pivot while cleaning it this summer, a ZDP caly Jr. is on the way to replace it.
The Caly ZDP, the Pacific Salt and the Byrd Meadowlark are probably most commonly found in my pocket. But the Lil'T sees a lot of pocket time to and so did the Manix.
I'll try to get pics because this is going to sound crazy and my description may lack clarity.
1- overall length is now 6 1/8". the handle is 3 3/4". the blade is 2 1/4" with a cutting surface of 2" and is very leaf shaped
2- has a ultra low-ride tip-up clip and I wear it IWB. It is not seen, the clip is short and tucks under my belt.
3- this has become my "hands down" favorite knife, ever. I love it!
Yeah, it's definitely one of my absolute favs also. If it were a little more pocket friendly, I'd probably carry it every single day instead of rotate it.
Pics would be great...curious to see how this looks.
This knife looks wild and if Spyderco produced something like it, I'd be all over it. I will try to get some pics up for sure. Have a camera at work that I can bring home.
