Does anyone EDC a multi tool?

Original LM Wave on the belt in original molded Bianchi holster converted to horizontal use and an original Victorinox manager in the watch pocket.

Curently I EDC a Leatherman Charge. I've EDCed a multitool of one sort or another for 8 years now. Before that I always had a SAK on me. In fact, I still carry a SAK too.

Spyderco SpydeRench clipped to my pocket and a Victorinox CyberTool 41 in a horizontal belt pouch. They are just too handy not to have with me.

I love the CyberTool 41, too. I carry it in my Podzilla to the office with me every day. The Spyderco SpydeRench has gotten rather mixed reviews, though, has it not?

Can't imagine not having a multi-tool on my belt. I go through withdrawl sitting on an airplane :( Anyway, at work I carry a Craftsman-Pro and on my days off I carry a Wave. I could be comfortable with any of the others (Gerbers,Victorinox, etc;) but I've gotten into the habit of using these two.

I EDC a pre-2004 Leatherman Wave:

It lives in this neat-and-discreet, horizontal belt-clip-and-loop pouch:

Lighter (non-smoker) and Photon II, then Victorinox Signature and finally the Wave on top. Easy access in order of my frequency of usage.

The pouch was designed for carrying Nokia 8000 series cellphones. It closes with four magnets (two sewn into the lid, two in the body), so it allows perfect one-hand access for both opening and closing. My phone is flat and very light, so it's happy in my right pocket.

Despite its weight, I'm not even aware of my Wave - until I need it!

I EDC 2 Multi-Tools, A SOG powerlock and a victorinox swisschamp. The SOG powerlock is by far my favorite Multi-Tool.

(I LOVE SOG's!!! ) :D:D

Carry three. LM super, LM crunch and a Kershaw. Usually use at least two everyday.

I also carry a Leatherman (Charge XTi), 6 inch adjustable wrench (Klein) and flashlight (Coast LED) in a Nite Ize pouch (it's actually a cell phone pouch, but has LOTS of pockets to slip extra things, i.e. 1/4 bits, bit holder, sharpener, etc. I do field work on two way radios and install on vehicals, so the weight is hardly an issue compared to how handy it is to have these extra things with you when you need them.

I am relatively new to this and would like to ask what EDC stands for. Is it Every Day Companion?

Origional LM Wave - every day, everywhere.

Thinking about upgrading to the Charge Ti. The 154CM blade, and the pocket clip would be really nice. The Wave is heavy in the pocket, and I don't like the look of the belt pouch in the city.

right now i carry a micra, but im gona have to upgrade to a wave or a charge, i havent decided which would better suit my needs.

and by needs i mean my appreciation of titanium vs stainless steel.

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn't the point of having a multi-tool to have tools with you when you might need them. Which if you do anything other than sit on the couch all the time then you could need a multi ANYTIME.... so it SHOULD be an EDC.
