Does anyone else want to see this knife made in 2010?!

The original Mastiff if one of my favorite knives, bring on the Mastiff Chopper

I find your lack of enthusiasm...and negative comment...distrubing...:grumpy:

ehh.. I wouldn't care it's too big for my needs. :thumbdn:

The Mini Rat Mojo was released, but the full sized Rat Mojo pictured below has not! That is another beautiful looking knife, but a more aggressive profile than the Rat Mastiff Chopper. I had a Mini Rat Mojo I used for a while for a camping knife, but the hook definitely gives it the feel of a fighter! However, the hook also makes for a great bottle opener around the campfire...

Have they made a Mr. Mofo?

I would get one or 2 of those. :)

I'd love to see another run of the original Mastiff. I prefer the old school handle over the one on the chopweiler, but will take what I can get. Might even settle for a Rat Daddy.

What is the difference between the chopwieler, rat daddy and the mastiff ?
Does anyone have the stats on these blades ?

Size, grind, and handles! The Rat Daddy & Rat Mastiff had the tactical handles (I believe...), and the Chopweiler and future Rat Mastiff Chopper have different handles. I also believe that the RDaddy was full flat ground whereas the Chopweiler and Rat Mastiff were saber ground. The sizes are as follows:

Rat Daddy: 10 1/2"

Rat Mastiff: 9 3/4"

Chopweiler: 7 1/2"

All three are excellent knives

A full sized mojo would be pretty cool. Giving it even a 1/2" sharpened swedge would make it a very appealing fighter (not that I am likely to ever actually need one).

I would still be more interested in a Rat Daddy or Mastiff though.

The Mojo is wicked, but I just love the look of the drop point blade on the Rat Mastiff Chopper! I have done extensive chopping with the Chopweiler in the past, and the saber grind & drop point combo feel incredible for such a short blade. I can only imagine what the RMC would be like!!

I also like the Chopweiler handle more than that of the M9 LE or M9 CG. I don't particularly dislike the M9 handle, but from a chopping-only perspective the swell at the end of the Chopweiler handle makes for one comfortable chopping session. I feel it really prevents the knife from flying out of your hand if you get sweaty.
