Does anyone honestly enjoy the look and feel of non-natural scales?

I generally dislike titanium, aluminum, and G-10.

I make an exception for automatic knives.

I've replaced the g-10 in all of my knives with wood or micarta.

I'm not a fan of the laminate CF Spyderco has used lately, like on the Ikuchi and Smock. It's really rough. Not like on my Gayle Bradley or Domino.

Honestly, yes ! Nothing to dislike with these (everyday users...). Feel and looks are gorgeous. This from someone rather die hard traditionalist (wood, bone, horn, stag, leather...) :

I really like micarta and some varieties are very warm and appealing. Natural canvas and bone/ivory linen are beautiful IMO.

Yes !!
I like g10, cf waiting to try micarta.
I also really enjoy wood handles on a knife.
I don't understand the dislike of wood.

Only ones I really don't like are smooth aluminum or plastic.
Frn is okay if it's textured well.

prefer any of these modern synthetics on aesthetic grounds?
Some G10 can be pretty nice, and some CF can be downright beautiful.
I really do prefer micarta, but it's mostly because of how it feels when it's done in a similar sorta way to the GM Ace Grand for instance.

Prefer? No. They're pretty equal really.

I don't recognize that maker's mark, but those are gorgeous knives, especially that first guy. May I ask what they are?

I prefer wood and horn as long as I can grip it well. But I have not tried them all yet, especially mammoth ivory and micarta.

Yes. I prefer G10 and micarta. FRN and its plastic cousins are ok too. The texture on my Delica 4 FRN is pretty good. My Rat 1 D2 handle is fine too.

I'm not the biggest fan of natural handles. I have one fixed blade with a wood handle (GL Drew ). No folders with wood, bone, CF (had some, moved them, too slick), or Ti. I have 3 with Al handles. I generally find metal handles slick. I've had issues with wood handles chipping and separating on folders before. I admit, some wood handles do look good.

If I were to buy a Case or GEC, I go micarta or G10 and pass on the traditional bone.

My favorite is, by far, titanium. I like micarta and copper next. After that wood, aluminum and g10 are all good. I’m not a huge fan of CF but even like some of those too.
