Here are three of mine. They take a decent edge. I have a lot of others, but these three are my favorite. Anyone else take a liking to them?

I like old Imerials and they're gettin' harder to find in good condition, here's one of mine, a Imperial with real NS slant bolsters. This one sees a lot of pocket time.

I like the bolsters on that guy! Every flea market I go to, I always seem to come across a lot of Imperials. I might have to pick a few of them up next time.

Imperials are one of my favorite brands to collect. Here is most of my meager collection. Always looking for more whenever I`m out.

I actually have an imperial 2 blade serpentine jack with carbon blades but missing scales. I was thinking of getting some bone, jigging and polishing it, and epoxying it to the scales for a unique little pocket knife. I just haven't gotten around to getting the bone with being busy fishing and working on traps lately.

The walk and talk on this knife is superb, i believe my brother picked it up with several others at a hardware store in Lexington MA in the mid-late 90's to rehandle. He worked at a cabinet maker's shop and had access to wood, tools, etc. He did an imperial barlow with thick mahogany scales that I have lying around somewhere. It has no bolsters anymore, just the thick wood scales. I will post a pic up if i can find it.

Yes; my fist real knife was an old Imperial small Stockman with delrin handles. I was 6 or 7 yrs. old I think(too dern long ago).

Love old Imperials. I like them all, especially the stamped shell handles. Here are some various pics...

I guess that's enough for now.

Let's see some more!

Here's a couple from the 1935 to 1945 period that are two favorites:

Like em quite a bit. Got to go to work, but I may throw some pics up. I collect fishing knives, so Imperials are a must. ;) Have lots of others, too though. Glenn, that top pic...wow.

Here's a few cells from my EDC pile.

Thanks, Glenn. That's some old Rogers bone on those knives.

Quite a collection you have there and some excellent knives being displayed by everyone!

Thanks, I am a bit of a "hoarder" when it comes to those Tu-tones. I am not ashamed to say that I think I easily have about 3 times as many more of those in my collection, although they are not all as nice.

Imperials must be easy to find in south central PA, because I see them all the time. Nothing so beautiful as what I've seen here. Elliott, a family friend has one of those scout type knives like yours, but the bail is long gone. Somewhat newer can opener style, his knife is quite old, he was given the knife by his old drill sergeant. I had the pleasure of cleaning it up and sharpening it for him (I put a shaving sharp edge on it). What a beauty. I gave him a Victorinox black alox pioneer and pleaded with him to let the old girl retire. He carries it just for the memories, and in honor of his old drill sergeant.

I'm very fond on this cattleman, similar to the one Elliott posted above.

I have this one. It's a green bone, easy open, jack with bail made in the 1932 to 1956 time period. It appears never to have been carried and is in excellent condition.

My most recent (terrible pic, sorry). Super clean knife. About 2/3rds the width of a standard TL-29. I like it a lot.

My Dad's brother's (He took his life before I was born, reason I don't say Uncle):

Gave this one away on here, but fear not, I have others. ;)

Great pics guys. I love old Imperial knives. Recently picked up a Diamond Edge barlow at an antuque store. Whoever owned knew what a knife is for. The edges are nicely convexed and scary sharp.
