Does anyone make a fixed blade with a 3" blade and 4" handle?

Standard handle thickness on either one of the EO1 models is 5/8", but I can go as thick as 3/4".

Fiddleback Hiking Buddy, 3.125" blade/4.25" handle
Koster Woodlore, 3" blade/4.5" handle

I have one of each (not my photos) and they are both great.

The new Bark River Adventurer with a 3.25" blade of CPM-20CV stainless steel (very similar to M390 and CTS-204P).

Esee makes the Esee 3 and the Izula 2 and both have 4 inch or more handles with blades in your range.

I'm currently searching for knife with a 2" blade and a 4" handle! I like a handle that's fits my hand for purchase and has a utility or box cutter length blade. There are some fixed blade models close to what I want but haven't seen any folders yet.

Closest I've come to that is the BRKT Bumble Bee with 2-1/4" blade and 3-3/4" handle:

Don't think they make this anymore, tho'.

Spyderco Mule's may fit the bill, handle is about 4 1/2" blade just under 3 1/2" and a WIDE variety of special steels being tested though the Mule Team project with Spyderco. You can either cord wrap the handle yourself, or you can get a variety of scales from folks on the forum or Spyderco has setup Halpern to make scales just for the Mule.

Take a look a real Finnish puukko, Spyderco's are just a style and IMHO grossly over priced. Not to mention that silly hole in the blade.

Look at some of the Finnish knives at:

http://www.ragweedforge.com

Look especially at the Ahti, Lapin Puukko and Wood Jewel; lots of models with 3 inch blades and longer 4+ inch handles.

I agree completely with Rich S. If you go pukko or leuku buy it from a Finnish or Scandinavian maker for sure. It's where they originated and they have the art of it down. Both are their own definite style and these guys make the REAL ones. Certainly the better knives too, in those profiles.

I'd add the J. Martinni company to that list, btw. I own a few of those.

Two other options that might meet your requirements---DPx HEST II series is pretty close to the 3:4 you are wanting. Just noticed the photo of one above. I have that model and recommend it highly. Also, the Scrapyard Bussekin makes great knives that fit the profile you seek.

I buy very few factory knives, because of the handle size issue. I have large hands, and need a bigger handle. I just got this one in last week. I have my knives made to suit me. Costs more, but in the long run it's cheaper. I don't have to keep looking around for something that fits. Handle here is 4.5 inches long, and fits me just fine.

I'd like to suggest the ESEE 3. Depending on how you hold it or think about it, it may be perfect.
I consider it a 3.5" blade and a 4" handle, because I consider the finger choil as part of the
handle. That's how I hold it. If you don't like the choil, then maybe not what you're
looking for.

I'd also like to mention the idea that you could always find the handle you're looking for,
and just take a little off the top blade-wise. It'd be a little work and time consuming, but,
if it gets you what you're wanting.... and it might save you some $$$ too.
Kinda like buying a custom, at production prices.lol.

This is a Jantz supply D2 blade, which also comes in 440 as well as damascus. The blade is 3 1/2, handle 4", so close to your specs. This is a very handy knife which holds an edge well. I wanted an orange handle so I could find it easily. Yet wood or other micarta would work well.
